Codebreaker
A secret code of four colored pegs is hidden. Crack it in eight tries.
The rules
- The code uses six colors, numbered 1 to 6. A color can appear more than once.
- After each guess you get a clue for every peg:
- Solid dot: one peg is the right color in the right spot.
- Ring: one peg is the right color but in the wrong spot.
- The dots don’t tell you which pegs they refer to. That’s the puzzle.
How to play
- Tap colors to fill your guess, then tap Check. Tap a peg in your guess (or Delete) to remove it.
- Crack the code within eight guesses to earn today’s green check.
Tip: try guesses like 1 1 2 2 early on to learn which colors are in the code.
