Word Ladder
Climb from the top word to the bottom word, changing one letter at a time.
The rules
- Each step changes exactly one letter. Letters stay in place; you can’t reorder them.
- Every step must be a real four-letter word.
- You can’t use the same word twice.
How to play
- Type your next word and tap Add. The changed letter is highlighted.
- Undo takes back your last step.
- Par is the fewest steps possible. Reach the bottom word in any number of steps to earn today’s green check; matching par is bragging rights.
Tip: look at which letters the two words already share and keep those fixed as long as you can.
