Mystery Song
Today’s answer is a well-known Beatles song. Find it in eight guesses.
The clues
- After each guess, five boxes compare your song with the mystery song: album, year, lead singer, songwriter and the number of words in the title.
- Green means a match. Amber on the singer means some of the singers match (for example, John alone when the answer is John and Paul).
- An arrow on album, year or words tells you which way to go: ↑ later or more, ↓ earlier or fewer.
- Songs come from the UK studio albums, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine and the singles that weren’t on an album (shown as “Single”). “Cover” means a song written by someone outside the band.
How to play
- Start typing any Beatles song title and pick it from the list.
- Find the song within eight guesses to earn today’s green check.
Tip: pin down the album first. Then the singer and songwriter clues narrow it to a handful of songs.
